By using Mood Movie Picker ("the extension", "the service"), you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

Mood Movie Picker is a Chrome extension that uses AI to recommend movies based on your mood. Recommendations are generated by AI and may not always be accurate or suitable for your preferences.

2. Accounts

You may use the extension as a guest (limited to 3 picks) or create a free account (10 picks per month). Plus subscribers get unlimited picks for $2.99/month. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

3. Payments and Subscriptions

• Plus subscriptions are billed monthly at $2.99/month through Stripe.
• You can cancel anytime from the extension's Manage screen. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of a charge if you believe it was made in error.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Abuse, reverse-engineer, or attempt to bypass usage limits
• Use automated tools or scripts to access the service
• Resell or redistribute the service

5. AI-Generated Content

Movie recommendations are generated by AI (Anthropic Claude). We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or suitability of any recommendation. Streaming availability data comes from TMDB and may not be current.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the service running reliably but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to inaccurate recommendations or service interruptions.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
